275/65/R18 116T First purchased 4 Cooper Adventurer H/T tires mileage was currently 199201 on May/2020. Only driven for work commute of 25miles. Cooper Adv H/T brand first replacement on front tires only due to one of the tires having bulging on the side wall of the tire, was informed possible defect and then it was changed to being worn out by possible construction/bad roads. 24450 mileage at the time of replacement on Aug/2022. There was a replacement of the second front tire In between the time period and was told by a different manager it was not a defect whom seemed hostile when I mentioned the first manager mentioned the last tire had a possible bulge defect. Paid normally price no discount. Currently now have the same bulging on front driver side wall from those replacements along with a watermark lining on the wall of the tire and mileage now is just around 255120.

Adjacent Recall Summary (08V208000): FORD IS RECALLING 605,684 MY 2005-2006 F-150 AND LINCOLN MARK LT VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH 5.4L 3-VALVE ENGINES. THE BRAKE BOOSTER VACUUM SUPPLY HOSE ATTACHED TO THE INTAKE MANIFOLD FITTING MAY SWELL OVER TIME AND LOSE RETENTION FORCE. THIS CONDITION COULD ALLOW THE HOSE TO BECOME DETACHED FROM THE FITTING DURING AN INTAKE MANIFOLD BACKFIRE. SHOULD THE HOSE DETACH FROM THE INTAKE MANIFOLD, SEVERAL BRAKE APPLICATIONS WITH POWER ASSIST WILL BE AVAILABLE BEFORE THE VACUUM RESERVE IS DEPLETED.

Safety Consequence: ONCE THE BRAKE BOOSTER VACUUM RESERVE IS DEPLETED, THE DRIVER WILL HAVE FOUNDATION BRAKE FUNCTION, BUT WITH INCREASED BRAKE PEDAL EFFORT. REDUCED VEHICLE BRAKING COULD LEAD TO A CRASH.

Manufacturer Remedy on 2005, 2006: DEALERS WILL REPLACE A RUBBER HOSE ON THE BRAKE BOOSTER VACUUM SUPPLY TUBE ASSEMBLY. THE RECALL BEGAN ON JUNE 27, 2008. OWNERS MAY CONTACT FORD AT 1-800-392-3673.

MY TRUCK STARTING HAVING BRAKES PROBLEMS (VIBRATION WHEN STOPPING) AT AROUND 25,000 MILES. TOOK IT IN TO DEALERSHIP FOR INSPECTION WITH 29,000 MILES ON IT. ENDED UP MACHINING ALL ROTORS (NOT UNDER WARRANTY). I'M NOW EXPERIENCING THE SAME PROBLEM AT 42,000 MILES. I BELIEVE THE ROTORS AND CALIPERS ARE SEVERELY UNDERSIZED CONSIDERING THE WEIGHT OF THE TRUCK. I SUGGEST THAT FORD MAKE GOOD ON THE NEXT BRAKE JOB. HAD A 88 CHEVY P/U AND WENT 75,000 MILES BEFORE REPLACING THE FRONT PADS. FORD HAS ERRED ON IT'S ENGINEERING. *TR

WITHIN 10,000 MILES, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS INSPECTED BY AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE THE ROTORS WERE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER ADVISED THE BRAKES WOULD NOT BE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY AND THERE WERE NO RECALLS ON THE VEHICLE PERTAINING TO BRAKES. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 10,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE 40,606.

THE BRAKE PEDAL WOULD ALSO VIBRATE THE LONGER PRESSURE WAS APPLIED TO THE PEDAL. THE DEALER REPLACED THE ROTORS, STATING THAT THEY WERE WARPED ALSO CAUSED THE FAILURE. The contact owns a 2007 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, she became aware that the sub frame, underneath the vehicle, was cracked. The contact stated that the frame was loose and was visible by standing in front of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who confirmed that the frame was cracked and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. ODI #11426939 • Incident Date: 07/28/2021
Yesterday I discovered that the frame of my truck is completely rusted through in at least 2 places on the passenger side. I cannot confirm these are the only areas. The passenger side appears much worse than the driver side.
ODI #11244061 • Incident Date: 08/14/2019
I HAVE A 2007 F150 WITH 96,460 MILES. DRIVES ON PA ROADS NEVER OFF ROAD AND NO HAULING. DRIVER SIDE FRAME RAIL IS RUSTED AT A POINT IMMEDIATELY BEHIND THE FORWARD MOUNTING BRACKET OF THE REAR LEAF SPRING. THE AMOUNT OF RUST IS EXTENSIVE. THE INNER WALL OF THE RAIL IS RUSTED THROUGH CREATING A HOLE APPROX. 10 INCHES LONG AND RANGING FROM THE HEIGHT OF THE RAIL TAPERING REARWARD TO ABOUT 3/4 OF AN INCH. THE BOTTOM OF THE FRAME RAIL IS ALSO RUSTED THROUGH AT A POINT WHERE IT MEETS THE SPRING'S MOUNTING BRACKET. ALTHOUGH THE METAL APPEARS SOMEWHAT INTACT THERE IS NO STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY. THIS LEAVES ONLY THE UPPER PORTION AND OUTSIDE WALL OF THE FRAME RAIL INTACT BUT ALSO RUSTED. BASED ON MY OBSERVATION THIS TRUCK CANNOT BE DRIVEN SAFELY. I AM NOT AWARE OF ANY SOLUTION OTHER THAN TO REPLACE THE FRAME BUT THIS WILL BE DETERMINED BY A PROFESSIONAL IN THE NEAR FUTURE. AS TO THE CAUSE I DO NOT KNOW. THIS DAMAGE WAS FIRST NOTED TODAY 8/14/2019 AND WAS NOT DETECTED DURING AN INSPECTION IN 12/2018

Adjacent Recall Summary (05V520000): ON CERTAIN TRUCKS, PASSENGER CARS AND SPORT UTILITY VEHICLES, THE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR MAY HAVE BEEN PRODUCED WITHOUT GREASE BEING APPLIED TO THE OUTPUT SHAFT GEAR.

Safety Consequence: AFTER A PERIOD OF CONTINUOUS USE ON THE HIGH SPEED SETTING, LACK OF GREASE ON THE OUTPUT SHAFT GEAR MAY CAUSE THE GEAR TO DISTORT OR FRACTURE DURING OPERATION RESULTING IN A LOSS OF WIPER FUNCTION. INOPERATIVE WIPERS UNDER INCLEMENT WEATHER CONDITIONS COULD CAUSE A CRASH DUE TO IMPAIRED VISIBILITY.

Manufacturer Remedy on 2006: DEALERS WILL INSPECT THE WIPER MOTOR FOR THE PRESENCE OF GREASE AND GREASE THE WIPER MOTOR GEARS IF NECESSARY. THE RECALL BEGAN ON NOVEMBER 22, 2005. OWNERS MAY CONTACT FORD AT 1-800-392-3673 OR LINCOLN/MERCURY AT 1-800-521-4140.
